Windyhill Woods LLC has developed a set of straight forward procedures for Wooden Wagon Wheels that enable even the beginner woodworker to make great looking decorative wooden wagon wheels in their own workshop. Contrary to what you might think, making wheels is easy. Few projects can showcase your woodworking skills better than a fine crafted wagon wheel. But if the seeming complexity of wheel construction has kept you from building your own, take note.

Following the instructions in our books you can make decorative wagon wheels that you will be proud to show off. We were careful to retain the classic lines of the wagon wheel but yet simplify the construction.

For example the book Making Wheels Easy #1 contain all the instructions, pictures and drawings that you will need to guide you through to completion. There are six books that cover making wheels. From 3 inches for models to 57 inches for that old cannon that would look great in your front yard.

You do not have to steam and bend the wood to make these wheels and you don't have to mortise the spokes into the rim and hub. Nor do you need a turning lathe to make the hub.

There are over 80 pictures that detail every step in the construction of your wheel. You will be taken STEP by STEP through the assembly of your wheel with PICTURES showing every DETAIL.

Starting with FULL SIZE PATTERNS that you use by tracing around them like templates, NO MESSY TRACING PAPER, right down to showing in illustrations how to cut the piece out and then assemble them together.

It took over a year to design and develop this book. Starting with a real old wheel and using concepts that allow the average wood worker to to complete its construction and yet maintain the look of an authenic wheel.
